Race: Miqo’te, Seeker/Keeper mix

Height: 6’6” ( In game model is 5'8" :( )
Gender: Cis male, he/him pronouns.
Orientation: Demisexual
Marital status: [Grunt.]
Notable features: Keeper/Seeker mix, dark colored hair/fur and more pronounced fangs as a result. Hair is black with white tips.
-Right eye is black and the left is gold.
-Has a small scar on the left side of his face, near his cheek. A wide assortment of scars littered along his body. Par for the course.
-Tail is long and fluffy. Large tuffed ears.

Personality

Quiet and tends to keep to himself. Because of this, it tends to be hard for other people to connect to him. Despite this, and his somewhat standoffish personality, he is extremely kind and well meaning. He is a man of little words, opting to put those words into action instead.He tends to get a bit more talkative with people he knows well ( or depending on whether he's slept or not ), albeit not much, but he tries his best to hold a conversation with someone who genuinely wants to talk to him.However, he doesn't take too kindly to boisterous or excessive loudness, and would rather remove himself from such situations. L'sta also prefers to not fight, also choosing to remove himself from situations where that might arise, but his calm and friendly demeanor tends to keep him very well out of trouble.L'sta's personality sometimes shifts depending on whether or not he has slept. When he is well rested, his personality and demeanor are like usual; quiet, standoffish, tends to not talk much. When he is not well rested, and has been awake for a long time ( as is his wont ), he is a bit more talkative, much more humorous and sometimes even a bit a bit sassy or flirty. He never means anything by it.

Misc.

Resting tired face. Rarely smiles to strangers ( except for children and elderly people ). Will smile at friends.Primarily partakes in carpentry, and is very willing on helping villages get back on their feet by making woodwork. Dabbles in culinary arts. Likes to make food and snacks. Also extremely interested in botany, and does that as a more secretive hobby/interest.His favorite holiday All Saints Wake. Spoopy.Nearsighted. Can't see shit without his glasses.He keeps a little journal with pressed flowers in it. If he could, he’d have a succulent. Who knows, maybe your character might happen upon him picking or observing flora….Because he is well versed in carpentry, L'sta likes to wood carve as well, and that is less of a secret than the flower pressing. Often times when he has slow days, or just wants a break, he might be out in a private area carving something. His favorite things to carve are animals.His inventory contains: a black book with pressed flowers, a reasonable supply of dried meat for him to snack on, a knife for cutting fruits and other foliage, another knife and usually a block of wood for wood carving, a water canteen with purifying items, an axe for chopping wood, and a sack of gil. He has a lance, and knows how to use a sword and a shield. He seems interested in learning how to use a firearm despite being less than stellar with a bow.Insomniac to the extreme. He likes to keep himself busy, so is prone to working on little to no sleep, and then eventually conking the fuck out for a few days to recoupe, only to do it all over again. He does not have a home of his own ( beyond, of course, his tribe ), and so stays at inns more often than not.Coffee addict. His choice of coffee is dependent on his mood and whether or not he slept.Does not drink or smoke. Or rather, he does not go out of his way to have a drink, but may accept it on rare occasions. This is very rare, and it's unknown what type of drunk he is.Unfortunately not much of a conversationalist, and very prone to short answers. May grunt or 'hm' in response during conversations, and tends to try and keep things short. He is usually always listening though, even if it might not seem it. Unless he's purposely ignoring you, at which point he might just get up and walk away, or gently tell you to fuck off. Despite his gruff, grumpy nature and somewhat deep voice, he is surprisingly soft spoken. He very rarely, if ever, raises his voice, even when angry.

Hooks

Traveler/Explorer: We all saw this coming. After all, Eorzea is prime real estate. Because he works himself doing tasks asked upon him or things posted on work boards, he comes and goes a lot from all three different cities, and occasionally can even be seen in Coerthas, and Ishgard if they allow him. He will be out and about the world, in many places, doing things as simple as gathering plants or culling rats. L'sta has been around a lot, and comes and goes, but maybe your character recognizes him. Maybe he accidentally bumps into your character at the work board. Maybe your character and him both want to take the same job. Who knows! Are you someone who can take him to a place he's never been before? He's very interested! Alternatively…Job taker: Maybe your character is someone that needs a job done. He gets around, so he has to be good, right? Got issues with wolves attacking your livestock? Need help gathering some fruit from outside of the city? Need a message sent? Something needed to craft? Want some flowers? L’sta will take your jobs, for a fee of course. ( Except for anything involving flowers/botany. ) He won’t do things for free unless you’re either a child or elder that needs genuine help, or a sweet, cute girl. A kid/old person in need? 100% help for free, no questions asked. A cute girl? 80% of a free job depending on how extensive the job is. Anyone else? Gotta pay, especially for jobs that require extensive travel or culling wild life. He has to make a living some how, and living ain't cheap. ( All payments are IC! There will be no actual gil passing between muns. )Home sweet home: He travels a lot, so you will see him in Ul'dah, Gridania and Limsa Lominsa. However, his 'home' is in Limsa, as that is where he first went after leaving his tribe. He'd been there for about 6-7 years, and might be seen perusing the marketplace for useful items. Because he has been around for so long, maybe your character just sees him very often if they also live in Limsa. He settles in the inn more often than not, still not interested in buying a home for himself or renting an apartment room, so he will often be seen in the Drowned Wench or, in other cities, The Quicksand or The Roost is where he will be if he needs a place to sleep. ( The Quicksand he will be in and out very fast, because of how little he likes the place and how little he likes Ul'dah. ) If your character is a frequent at these places, or also uses the inns a lot, maybe they might know him, or pass him!Coffee: L'sta loves his coffee. He also loves his sweets. So he will definitely be a frequenter. He particularly likes quiet and calm coffee places, preferably those that have an abundance of flowers. If your character or FC owns a cafe, then L'sta might pop in every now and then! ( Whenever I, the mun, stop being so shy. ) Maybe one coffee shop he really liked to go to shut down and so he's trying out a new one to compensate for not knowing who he is. Can never go wrong with how easy a coffee shop is for RP!Information ( Contact me! ): Taking so many jobs and being in so many places might make him privy to less than ideal information. Maybe some things that some people shouldn't know. It's not like he tries to eavesdrop, but sometimes it happens. If you need information on something, he might know about it. Though it's very rare he'll even provide it. If he has information on it, there might be someone who doesn't want him to know about it. This is a hook for potentially Dark RP. About

As a child, L’sta was a stern boy, and didn’t particularly take well with playing with other children. His firm and otherwise no nonsense attitude clashed pretty hard with other more eccentric Seekers in his clan, but his resolve and loyalty towards his tribe members left him welcome.Not particularly interested in being one of the Tias that challenge the Nuhn of his tribe for the title, he had instead opted to partake in hunting and other menial tasks that needed to be doing, which could be anything from helping to fix something someone had broken or gathering items, partaking in carpentry to better help his clan make weapons or other things to trade.Growing listless, however, he sought more. And so, with the blessing of the Nuhn, L’sta left the tribe’s territory and started his life as an adventurer. Picking up a lance, he set foot towards Limsa Lominsa, a supposed lustrous city that many other Miqo’te found refuge in. While, indeed, a sight to behold, lustrous might be a bit of an overstatement. It's overrun with pirates and less than savory characters, with many ready to fight at a moments notice. Regardless, a few bad apples do not ruin the entirety of a city, and L’sta pushed through to appreciate the hospitality shown to him by not only city born residents, but other Miqo’te from different tribes as well.Gaining his footing in a new city, he slowly began doing what he had done best; picking up tasks to help the less fortunate. From an errand boy, to a pest exterminator, to a gatherer and crafter, L’sta accepted most requests given to him, and perused boards to see if any particular quests tickled his fancy.Despite his blunt and stand-offish personality, he made good on making a little niche for himself in Limsa Lominsa, and some might even say they like him. Maybe. He does his jobs well and never seems particularly bothered or burdened when asked for help. At least not genuinely.L’sta has traveled well around Eorzea, some jobs requiring him to enter different towns or cities. Gridania he finds a pleasant city. The forest and foliage are a refreshing reprieve from Limsa, and he likes to go there for flowers and to enjoy some quiet shops. Ul’dah he likes infinitely less. Trying to navigate through The Quicksand’s busy bodies is an absolute nightmare, especially when all he wants is to check into the inn. And some of the people are just… something else. Please put on a shirt. If he's in Ul'dah, he's there begrudgingly.It's not a terribly exciting life, but it's his to live. He can't really complain.

There are things L'sta will never do ICly, no matter what, however I am okay with a lot of stuff happening to HIM. Discussion is important though! I would prefer to start off slow, and get to know you, before partaking in darker roleplay.-ERP is reserved for friends or people I have been RPing with for a while. L'sta is not a promiscuous guy and is hard to seduce. Expect a slow burn as far as relationships go, if they even happen at all, and I would prefer RP where getting laid is not the main focus. Pre-made ships are not something I'm interested in, I want it to be _organic. I'm just really bad at writing smut. Drawing it on the other hand.... ;)-I will not RP character death. Lasting and obvious physical injuries can be discussed ( ex. Missing limbs, blindness, etc. ). Adding a few scars onto his body isn't gonna bother me. I actually really love rping ( and drawing!! ) bodily harm, even if I'm bad at rping fighting, but this all needs to be discussed.-Lore friendly, but not strict. I'm still relatively new to the game ( I just started in July, but did get through the entire MSQ on my main ), so I don't know every single thing about the lore. Pwease no buwwy.-I am not my character. L'sta is hard to approach and may seem not very interested in interaction. Please know this is not how I feel OOCly! I'm just rping a grump! Any hint of taking IC actions personally will have me dropping and running incredibly fast. Please talk with me if there are issues. Hidan was my life.I work in a shopping center at an information desk, and then take hours at a leasing office, and when I get home I typically hop on! If I'm not online, then I'm at work or asleep. I am usually on Discord a good majority of the time because my job allows access to the computer, so I am around during slow days.I am new to RPing on MMOs! I prefer to RP in-game, however we can RP on Discord. I would prefer making a server specifically for RP instead of doing it through DMs.I am an artist, though most times I'm working or playing FFXIV. I have had a lot of good times, and have made so many wonderful friends, but have recently had a lot of bad times. As such, please understand if I'm wary or nervous. I am a very soft person, despite any front I put up. I have been hurt, and RP was very nearly ruined for me. I had gone through so much that I'm genuinely scared and nervous of interacting with people, and asking for RP. I want to get past this and back into RPing again as a hobby. No "Oh, so you support ___ IRL", no death threats, no libel. Just block me and go. Having boundaries and triggers is not the same as treating a person like shit for fictional content. How someone treats a real person is what matters to me the most, not what they like in fiction.I will never judge you for the things you RP with other adult consenting muns. Never. So don't ever worry about that. Some things I may not be interested in, but you never have to worry about me shunning you or dropping you to the curb over your interests in fictional content.
